When you mostly use your conversion camper van for overnighting, or longer trips where you are sleeping in your camper regularly, panel beds are a great semi-permanent option for a bed space. The 3 Panel Fixed Bed System from Flatline Van Co will mount securely in your van and provide a stable sleeping platform while still allowing for plenty of versatile overhead and lower storage options.

The Sprinter bed kit is 65.5” in wide, so it can be mounted up to 50” high in your van. The Transit bed kit is 62” wide and can be mounted between 33” and 42” in high. Made of 12-gauge, powder coated steel, the mounting rails for the bed panels are not adjustable once installed, but they do contain several sets of mounting holes so you can fine-tune your bed height even after you’ve set the rails. The panels can be configured for a sleeping length of 72” or 75” in both Sprinter and Transit vans for the comfort of taller passengers.

Unlike other panels made from bamboo, or finished in hex-ply, or with heavy steel pins and expansion rods, these fixed panels are made from powder coated 3/16” aluminum with a special laser cut pattern that means they are dramatically lighter than most panel beds on the market. The cut-outs also make the panels easy to handle and ensure plenty of ventilation to the bottom of your mattress. Each panel also has an integrated l-track cutout for convenience and added quick storage solutions so you can hang accessories to the underside of your bed.

The Ford Transit panel bed is compatible with 2015+ Transit 148” high and mid roof models, or 2023+ Transit Trail vans. The Sprinter bed system is compatible with all 2007+ Sprinter vans.
