Sometimes you want a seat in your camper van that can be there when you need it, and then with little effort, be not there, or at least less there when you’d rather have the extra space. You may have already checked out the GO-ES SpaceSaver Foldaway from Freedman Seating, but Freedman offers another high quality, folding two-seat option as well. The 3Pt SpaceSaver Foldaway is designed with many of the same features in mind – including the ability to fold completely up against the wall of your van when not in use, which can be an incredible convenience in tight camper van living quarters.

Like the GO-ES seat, the 3PT Foldaway also features integrated 3-point seatbelts, a flexible mounting system that allows it to bolt to multiple floor and wall configurations, and a slim profile when folded up against the wall. What makes the 3PT foldaway different are some of the construction details. Unlike the GO-ES seat, which is designed to be the lightest and slimmest foldaway seating solution on the mobile market, the 3PT is designed to be a little more cushy and comfortable for those longer days in the van.

Instead of a simple bench seat, it features contoured knee and back cushions for added support and comfort, and a Knee Saver back design for superior room and support from hip to knee. The addition of Flexolator grid suspension in the seat cushions further improves the feel of these seats on long drives. With a jig welded heavy-duty tube frame, this seat is ultra-sturdy, and can be ordered with optional armrests, headrests, and a wide range of upholstery fabrics and colors, including vinyl.
