Goal Zero’s mission is to deliver accessible energy solutions at home and on the road, so people feel empowered with a safe, connected, and sustainable future. The company owes its genesis to humanitarian relief efforts in Africa – with its founders deploying the first iterations of Goal Zero solar and power products in 2008 for rural African communities in the DRC that have never had power.

The desire to continue to innovate in portable power solutions led Goal Zero to pioneer one of the first all-in-one battery products in the industry, with a new category of sustainable, portable power station in 2009. Since then, Goal Zero has continued to push the boundaries of the portable and renewable power solutions as they strive to focus on creating products to help people in the real world. This aligns with their continued contribution to humanitarian efforts such as hurricane and earthquake recovery in under-privileged and power-deprived areas.

The original Yeti portable power stations were manufactured in 2012 to meet the rising demand for larger mobile power units. Since then, Goal Zero has continued to push advancements in the Yeti systems by the market-leading adaptation of lithium batteries, Bluetooth connectivity, and home integration kits. And home integration does indeed mean Goal Zero has also created an impressive enough power station that it will charge not just your conversion van, but can in an emergency function as a generator and charge essential home circuits as well. Goal Zero has outdone themselves to create fully modular and portable power station products that offer simple plug-and-play use, and be easily run from a mobile app.
