OZK Customs + Owl Vans: B-2 Bike Carrier for Sprinter or Transit

Your custom conversion van needs to be a multi-purpose adventure vehicle – and for some of us it wouldn’t be much of an adventure without a mountain bike along. The B2 bike carrier is Owl Vans’ reinvention of their own Bike + Box Carrier, and as with everything Owl Vans designs, they push for the highest quality blend of functionality and performance. The B2 Bike carrier, originally designed for the Sprinter, is built from a propriety blend of aluminum alloy, making is both lighter and stronger than anything else the adventure van industry has to offer.

The carrier itself is constructed of four modular mounting plates running the length of the tubes, which gives you complete adjustability for how you mount your bikes or other storage accessories, making it a versatile but extremely secure rack. The B2 carrier opens with the rear door, carries up to 200 lbs, including e-bikes, or other storage boxes, which can be mounted to the Sherpa hole system.

When Owl Vans redesigned the B2 for the Transit, they didn’t just slap it on different hinges. They completely re-engineered the mounting system to create a bulletproof mount for the more challenging structure of the Transit rear Door. The billet machined hinge brackets for the Transit B2 mount can support a tremendous amount of weight, and do not require your installer to remove the Transit door hinges or realign the door afterwards. The carrier is built to work with both Medium and High Roof Transits, and provide all the practicality, ease of use, and sturdiness of the Sprinter counterpart.
