OZK Customs + RB Components Sprinter Sliding Door Floor Extension

Sometimes you just need a little bit more space in a camper van. Well, maybe a LOT more space in a camper van, but there’s only so much you can do to increase your livable area. One small addition you can make to your Sprinter van is the Sliding Door Floor Extension from RB Components. Designed to be installed with a wood subfloor, like our custom OZK Customs Marine Grade Plywood floor, this extends the van’s subfloor towards the back of the sliding door.

The extension frame is made from 1/8” powder coated aluminum and is 23.25” long and 8” wide, adding that much space to your van’s floor. This can increase your options for your interior van layout – for instance if you’re interested in installing a cabinet at the sliding door area. It also gives you a cubby of space about 5” high over that rear part of the sliding door step, increasing your storage space for random items you want quick access to.
