Real portfolio. Photos of completed builds matter. Stock images and renders are red flags. The work has to exist.
Transparent quoting. If a shop will not give you an itemized quote upfront, that is a problem. We use set pricing on most installs and quote anything custom separately. You see the price before you commit.
