Finding a Van Builder

Van Conversion Near Me — Find a Professional Van Builder

If you searched "van conversion near me," you are probably trying to figure out two things: who actually does this work, and whether you have to drive your van across the country to get it built. Here is the honest read.

We are OZK Customs, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We build full custom vans and install individual upgrades on Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, and Ram ProMaster. The shop is at 6159 E Huntsville Rd, open Monday through Friday 9–5 Central. Most of our customers are not local — vans come to us from across the country.

How Out-of-State Customers Work With Us

Drive It In

Most of our regional customers (Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Tennessee) drive their van to Fayetteville for the install. We schedule the build, you drop off, you drive home when it is done.

Ship It In, Pick It Up

For longer-distance customers, we coordinate enclosed transport in and out. The van shows up on a truck, we build it, and we either ship it back or you fly in to pick it up and drive home.

Source Locally

If you do not yet have a van, we can source it through our dealer network at volume pricing and start the build immediately. See Van Sourcing.

What "Near Me" Actually Means

Drive time matters less than you think. A two-day drive once beats a year-long DIY at a shop that doesn't exist closer. The right shop is more important than the closest shop.

What to Look For in a Van Conversion Shop

Opinions. A shop that will install anything you ask is not an expert — it is a contractor. We have documented opinions on which products work and which ones don't. See Quigley Trail for an example of why we are an authorized Q-Lift installer (1 of 7 nationally) and why we do not perform ProMaster 4x4 conversions.

Proven parts. A shop that uses whatever the customer brings in is risking the warranty on every install. We install from a library of parts we have tested across many builds. New customers benefit from the lessons learned on prior ones.

Real portfolio. Photos of completed builds matter. Stock images and renders are red flags. The work has to exist.

Transparent quoting. If a shop will not give you an itemized quote upfront, that is a problem. We use set pricing on most installs and quote anything custom separately. You see the price before you commit.

If You Are Local

We are 30 minutes from Bentonville, an hour from Tulsa or Joplin, two hours from Fort Smith or Branson, and three hours from OKC, Springfield, or Memphis. Customers from any of those drive in regularly. If that is your situation, see Van Conversion in Fayetteville.
